Welcome to the official website for the 2008 IPF Masters World Powerlifting
Championships. We are honored that the International Powerlifting Federation has selected USA Powerlifting and the city of Palm Springs to host this world championship which will be held on September 30 through October 4, 2008. 

We look forward to hosting athletes, coaches, officials, and guests from all over the world.  The Palm Springs Convention Center shall provide a world-class setting as the championships venue and we are pleased to partner with the Hilton Palm Springs as our official host hotel. 

As you make plans to attend these championships, we encourage you to consider extending your stay beyond the competition.  Palm Springs boasts an exceptional blend of year-round sunshine, spectacular mountain views, emerald green golf courses and outstanding cuisine and the Southern California region offers a significant number of world-renowned tourist destinations.
